Four years ago, Mike Meisenheimer and Cory Eckert, friends who met while training for the White Pass ski patrol, began to discuss starting a business selling and installing ductless heat pumps, which were a relatively new idea for the Pacific Northwest. Cory had just started using them in his home building business, and after discussing the possibilities, Mike was intrigued. Soon, Cory purchased a ductless heating and cooling unit and installed it in his own house. When his wife, who grew up enjoying the warmth provided by a wood-burning furnace said, “This reminds me of the heat we had in the house I grew up in”, both Mike and Cory knew they were on the right track. And so, a plan was born for what was to become Alpine Ductless, one of the premier providers of ductless heat pumps in Western Washington.
Today, Alpine Ductless continues to grow. In the greater South Sound area, we have installed over fourteen hundred, energy-efficient ductless heating and cooling unitsin homes and businesses. In addition to owners Cory and Mike, Alpine Ductless has thirteen professional and talented employees who are all dedicated to providing the best possible service to their customers. The people at Alpine Ductless are proud to help a growing number of home-owners and businesses not only save energy and money with their heating and cooling needs, but also experience the cozy comfort that a ductless mini split unit can provide.
